Rumors are flying that Paris Hilton will be charged with possession of a controlled substance today. 0.8 grams of cocaine, to be specific, according to TMZ. More bad news for Paris: according to TMZ, she was more than a little evasive about the purse in question that ultimately caused the drug bust. From TMZ:

At the hotel, Paris told the cop she needed lip balm so the cop handed Paris her purse: “As she began to open it, I saw a small bindle of what I believed to be cocaine in a clear baggie begin to fall from the purse and into my hand.”

… she said the cocaine was not and claimed the purse was not hers — that she had borrowed it from a friend. The cop questioned Paris about the cocaine and according to cops Paris gave an odd answer: “She said she had not seen it, but now thought it was gum.”

Later on, Paris claimed that the purse was in fact, hers, but that it had been in the possession of a friend. Not too cool, Paris. Though after this summer’s world tour of Marijuana detentions, I’m sure this will work out fine as well, Good luck Paris!

The LA Times is reporting that heiress Paris Hilton was arrested in Las Vegas Friday night after LVPD found a small amount of Cocaine in a purse inside the vehicle Paris was in. Supposedly the cops pulled over the SUV containing Hilton after noticing a cloud of Marijuana smoke coming out of the windows. Hilton has stated that the purse is not hers.

Also reported, though unconfirmed is that Cy Waits, Hilton’s nightclub-entrepreneur boyfriend was Hilton and was allegedly arrested on suspicion of drug-related DUI.

BBC Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills claims that Justin Bieber is a pint sized terror! Here’s what he posted to Twitter after meeting Justin Bieber:

“Seriously, someone needs to have a word with him. He’s a precocious little brat.”
“I may have called Justin bieber a brat in today’s metro! Just my experience of him,sorry.. Getting few angry messages!”

Kat Stacks, controversial personality in the Hip-Hop community, posted a video to WorldStarHipHop.com that shows what she claims is the inside of a hotel room where she allegedly met rapper Soulja Boy for sex. She shows off lines of what she claims is Cocaine, makes several remarks insinuating that Soulja Boy is a heavy Cocaine user, and disparages his sexual performance. She goes on to post a phone conversation that is supposed to be Soulja boy, and showing her Twitter, which has messages from what is alleged to be his Twitter account. Who knows. Fantasia Barrino, who is in the news after she allegedly broke up a marriage and then was hospitalized with an overdose of aspirin or something, says it wasnt an accident, and that she actually mean to kill herself. Well, duh. Here’s her reasoning:

Today, Charlie Sheen pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge, stemming from his domestic violence case. At the Aspen Co. tril, the judge ordered Charlie Sheen into 30 days of rehab. Sheen took the sentence well, saying:
“I’m very grateful to the court and to the people of Pitkin County. I look forward to complying with the court’s decision, getting on with my life and putting this behind me.”

The actor will also serve 3 months probation and 36 hours of domestic violence counseling.

Quite the shakeup today for American Idol! Ellen has quit American Idol, after Kara DioGuardi was summarily fired from the hit program. Perez Hilton is reporting that his sources tell him:

Sources say that if all goes according to plan, the judges will be Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, and Steven Tyler.

Justin Bieber must be having the time of his life, even though the moms is keeping him close to home.

“My mom has me on a tight leash and [she's] being real protective. The girls show up wearing nothing. I can’t lie, I’m 16, I don’t hate it. I don’t have a girlfriend.”

A photo of Oksana Grigorieva with a black eye, alleged to have been caused by Mel Gibson after an altercation, is making the round online. It is posted at RadarOnline exclusively.

The close-up shot, which shows the Russian singer, 40, with deep bruises around her left eye, was reportedly taken after she and Gibson, 54, had gotten into a heated argument in January, according to RadarOnline, which posted the photo.

Meanwhile, Mel’s camp is firing back:

Sources close to Gibson have denied the allegation, saying he was trying to stop his ex from shaking their 9-month-old daughter Lucia “like a ragdoll.”
